A Barometer is a useful and attractive gift. They are easy and fun to use. They forecast changing weather by measuring very small changes in atmospheric pressure. Just turn the center knob so that the brass needle is over the black barometer needle. Come back in an hour or two and see whether the barometer is rising or falling. A rising barometer means fair weather - a falling barometer stormy weather. Forged brass with aluminium dial. Dimensions on base: 9 1/2"W x 7 1/2"H x 4"D.
