    Depthmate model SM-5A has an external transducer at the end of a 12 foot wire for accuracy at a distance.

  • Features:
  • The SM-5A makes it easy if it's not possible for youto reach the water with the SM-5 depthsounder.
  • With the transducer at the end of a 12ft wire the unit can be used from boats mounted inside or outside of the hullor on a pole or boathook.
  • The transducer fitting is waterproof however it is not for underwater use and cannot be submerged.
  • Note: Depthsounders manufactured prior to2001 cannot be converted.
  • An optional ACCESSORY KIT (part number AA-5) contains a strong suction cup bracket for external hullmounting and a velcro/2-block attachment for pole or boathook mounting.
  • Specifications:

  • RANGE: 2-260 feet or .6 - 81 meters
  • POWER: Standard 9V dry cell battery (good for 500 10 second readings)
